Where in the world is the DIY section?
I of course realize that if I can't even find the DIY section, there is very little hope I can fix my car. But I can live in awe of others talents if I could only find the DIY. Perhaps I could even become inspired enough to attempt a AT to 6 speed manual transmission conversion tomorrow afternoon!

Like he said third sticky down or 2 threads above the newest thread (this one for the next few mins) lol as far as actually doing the DIY projects, you don't HAVE to be an experienced mechanic but it helps. The modding isn't really very hard but if you have short arms and fingers it can be a bit of a hassle getting to certain areas. For me (short arms and fat fingers,) =o( , the rear header was hard to reach and get proper torque specs so just have to be creative and either sit on the engine or find a tall long armed friend who will work for beer and friendship. (I did both) good luck it's a great car to me an I've never modded any of my cars beyond stereo just normal repairs. It's very satisfying when you get the car on the road after a mod and you can really tell a difference (some mods not so much feel but hear) just stay calm and be patient cause there will be issues during installs.
