Should i Keep the Supercharger?!

Sup folks...

Alright. I'm going to make a long ass story short. for the past year and a half, I've been searching High and low for 6MT swap parts because i've been thru 5Shitmissions and the last one i had to pay full price for it.. I will drive that car into a wall before i pay for another Crappy ass auto trans... SOOO i'm STILL collecting parts for my car. I've gotta supercharger that i purchased and its been sitting in the same damn box I got it in since i bought it. I WOULDNT DARE put that supercharger on the car while its AUTO. i'm at the point where i'm Getting impatient.. i've got SOO many parts in my storage. when i go to the unit. I sometimes think about Selling My supercharger because it just sits there. My 6sp and all the swap parts are collecting dust and i'm at the point where. All i need is Flywheel. richies harness, axles, a bunch of Misc bolts, nuts and things, and then my Mechanic....

I've been fighting and fighting and fighting and to no avail I still dont know what i want to do with it.... Its not like i need ALLL the 6 speed parts or even the crucial ones... Comments, questions, concerns?

No at the rate comptech has been discontinuing parts for our cars, it won't be long before they stop making that. The only thing they still have for our cars is the supercharger and axle back mufflers. Keep it then put it on once you make your car a six speed.

I'm in the same boat! i the same have a SC collecting dust and have just as much 6speed swap parts that's taking up space and it's been 2-3 years... every time i get close to finish my swap it's sold or disappears from underneath me. but seeing that i've dumped soo much $, and i'm sure you as well, you might as well finish what you started. I'm getting so impatient that i'm lookin for a CL for sale and just screw the parts i have and just get it done. Pay to play. i feel your pain...

Before I just bought a CL-S6 for its 6 speed parts, I searched around for those parts. You can get an OEM flywheel for $270. You can reuse the same axles, so no need to replace them. If they break, get some from AutoZone with a lifetime warranty, so you never have to pay for them again.

GL getting a Richie harness. He's MIA for now. Give him a couple months, and he'll show up.

I'm doing the swap right now. Nothing difficult. Just need the right tools.

Nah, bills r good. not that.. i guess i'm just rushing myself.. another thing that i feel has been rushing me is i'm moving soon, and I dont believe i'll have a cozy little place to put all that 6 spd stuff. like the trans and all those big items.... I Guess i was just looking for a reason. I was going to just start a post in the black market and see how much interest i get.. But in the back of my head.. i DAMNNNN sure dont want to.... I wish i was more patient.

hate to break this to you but the extra HP from the blower is not going to kill the AT any sooner. The issues are lubrication related, not HP related.

Comptech is no longer in business the new Comptech has really no relation to the old one.

Comptech is now CT Engineering. You'd be a fool to ditch those parts man!! You're like right THERE you just gotta do the work. I say keep the parts, make the upgrades, and enjoy your kick ass car!
