Where do you park your car? Advice needed

Summer is approaching and that means the sun's hot rays beating on our babies. It pains me to watch my TL sitting in the hot sun.

I have a tree by my apartment. Should I park my car under the shade, and get sap/dirty crap from the tree on my car, or should I park it out in the open where the car stays clean but really hot. Neither one is very good for the paint. Any sugestions?

sap would do more damage to your car then the sun (chip the paint), and some sap even can change the color of your paint. The sun on the other hand can dmg your leather interior. so yeah you're screwed both ways lol. If the tree doesn't sap a lot, then park under it. If you park in the sun, have a sun shade in the front and make sure the sides have tints.

park in the sun and put the sun shades on. This is the best way to keep your car interior cool and in good condition. Remeber to re-wax your car!

Park in the sun, get a sun shade, keep the sunroof door closed and use Zaino (instead of other waxes) to get a great shine and to protect the finish. Its a high UV car polish product you use instead of wax - do a search on the site, it's high recommended.

Going to Zaino my new TL Type-S on Sunday or Monday depending on the weather.

I park in the sun, but have the sunshade and 3% tint to take care of it... dont like that it slowly fades the paint, but every time i park under a tree i either get sap or bird ****. shoot me.

If you know, or you work close to your car, incase of rain. Park nose to sun, sun shade, sun roof Rear tilt up. All windows 1" crack. Walmart sells a batt op fan, (C) size, last over 100 hrs. Put it on consul tilt fan to face sun roof, turn to high.

This is only used if you work close enouth to your vec. incas it rains. Since I started this system, it stays 10 Deg less. Before 150 now 130-135. it doesn`t sound like much, but over the long term.
I live SE GA! During Aug. av 100 Deg.

Good luck!

If you hear of a better way, I`ll try it.

Definately park in the Sun and get tints. I have 35% which keep a good amount of rays out. Also treat your leather.

Thanks for all the imput guys. It sucks not to have a garage. How much does it normally cost to put tints on all 5 windows?
And how much should I get that's "legal" in CA?

Thanks in advance
