Hey you guys, when the Tranny goes does the car studder. my car shifts fine but what I am talking about is that the car does like a studder as if the VSA was activated. It only happend 2 or 3 time but I don't recall if the light came on, next time I have to look real quick to see if thats what is is. Any way what are the symptom to look for when the tranny goes. I have 11.5K on my car now and I bought it last Sept.

 

I would be very much interested in the pre-failure symptoms myself.

Just recently, the car seems to be auto-shifting into 5th @ 45mph, where previously it would auto-shift into 5th @ about 40mph. Now, I have to SS it into 5th (if I'm not going to be over 45mph for a while), where it holds ok. Other shift characteristics seem to be doing ok.

BTW, my '02 TL-S has 16.5k on it.
