When to service car ?

When is it recommended to change:

Spark plugs ?

Air filter ?

Tranny fluid ?

Oil when using Mobil1 Synthetic ?

I am getting this weird engine shaking problem but no one can figure it out. It only happens sometimes and its all random times, thats what makes it more difficult.

From that site it says to use 5w30 but doesnt say anything about when you should change spark plugs, tranny fluid, and air filter.

found this through search

1) Change the engine oil and oil filter. ( Done every 3750 miles)
2) Replace air filter ( Done every 30, 000 miles)
3) Replace cabin filter ( Done every 30,000miles)
4) Replace fuel filter ( not applicable to Acura TL, not required by Acura)
5) Tire rotation ( Done every 7500 miles)
6) Replace Sparkplugs ( Done every 105,000 miles)
7) Replace transmission fluid ( Done every 60,000miles)
8) Replace brake fluid every 3 years or when getting the brake pads replaced.
9) Replace coolant ( Done every 60,000miles or 5 years, whichever comes first)
10) Replace PCV valve whenever it stops rattling, otherwise leave it alone.

Most members prefer 5w20 for their motors

Here is an oil discussion thread https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/oil-talk-713469/

And all other DIY you can think of for your TL. https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-1999-2003-98/new-official-2nd-gen-tl-diy-thread-706083/

I'd also recommend registering at www.myacura.com very helpful website.

Actually most dont prefer that. That is what honda switched to in 2002 to get better cafe standards. 5w30 is whats recommended for the 99-01 and works just fine in the 02-03
