When the end of the tranny is nigh...
I just got my new tranny. I noticed that for the last month or so, the cup holder was getting warm (i.e., the soda in cup holder would be warm after a 20 minute trip. Then Last Friday, the tranny died. So, for all you guys that notice your cup holder heating up, the end is near! :wow:
The new tranny is sweet! I never used the manual shifter, as the delay between tap and shift was too long. Now, it is very quick, and actually usable
I just hope this tranny lasts

No that's not it. Turn your heat on for a few minutes. There is a duct that runs underneath the center console. It'll cool your soda in the summer.

I just got my tranny replaced also, but I feel as if my new tranny is alittle short in power, I 'm probably goign to take it in the Acura dealer to check, cause my check engine light is still on. I about the same experience with you because my old tranny used to be weird, my center console would be hot also, and then when the weather is warm, the transmission would start slipping, and when its really cold, it would be fine.

Well, it is still cold out, and the heater is still on and my soda is cold.
NSXNEXT, that is why I thought that there was no problem. However, since it is not happening now, I ass/u/me that the cause was the tranny.

Anyway, I hope this one lasts.
