Got my '99 on June 4, '99. Ordered it on January 27 of that year and the build date was May 20 I was stoked when the salesperson called and told me that.

April 17, 2000. Y2K WDP - no nav. Car still totally stock. Had just been put on the showroom floor that morning after the guy who ordered it changed his mind. I lucked out because WDP was hard to get at the time.

12/28/99. I ordered a 2000 Firepeper Red/Ebony/Nav 9/99 The car was hard to get I changed my mine in Early Dec & told dealer if the Black comes in 1st I would take it.
I test drove one of the first 99 TL on dealers lot back in 98.

Deposit put in on Dec 1998. Car was promised by March, but then it was said maybe April instead. I called another dealer just for the hell of it, and amazingly they had a Satin Silver/Navi that was being delivered, but there was no one on the list for it. We snatched it up, and drove the TL to the other dealer to get our deposit check.
