Wheelskins

Does anyone have experience with wheelskins. I was thinking about getting a two tone one for my steering wheel but just wanted to do some research before I buy it. I would also appreciate opinions on what color combo would look good. I have a beige interior and red exterior. Thanks homies!

I've haven't really sewn before, but I have steady hands. I don't mind putting in the work if it's worth it in the end. I've read around that it takes about an hour to sew it up.

It does take time, but doing it right produces very good results. I put a Wheelskins cover on my Miata in 1997 and it still looks great. Get a pair of thin gloves (like weight lifter gloves from a sporting goods store) to protect your fingers when pulling the cord tight. If you don't, you will be hurting after 10 minutes and not get the results you want.
