I have 18x7.5 with the offset being 45. It is going in this Friday to get the Comptech springs and Koni adjustables. Trust me I am gettin worried with that, but I will let you know if it works out.

I guess it will not only rub, but your car won't even move. 18x7.5 need +52 and you even wants to use 8.5.
Don't use the rear wheel drive car offset !

Please clarify! "You need +52 offset?", Most on the board have suggested offsets between 43 - 48 mm. Wheels that Snook is selling is within the 48mm. Why +52?

From Mugen, Volk racing and other Japanese brand name rims, they suggest 7 inches wheel use offest +50, and 7.5 inches wheel use offset +52. According to my personal experience +45 will rub like hell. Since I don't want to trim the plastic thing in the car and the touch the well, there is no way to solve the problem. Now I use +52 offest, they are prefect (I lowered my car with H&R spring)! That prove Mugen , Volk racing and others were right about the offset !

I think the 45 offset will work out. There is a guy on the forum who has 19's with 44 offset and he said he will not have any problems. Plus, Acura already took a look at it and said it will work out. Snook also said there should be no problem.
