What's your idle RPM's when cold

I have a random misfire problem (usually when engine cold) and not sure if it's because my cold idle is too low. It's cold idles at the high 1300's and settle down quite fast to 1000-1100 after about a minute, then to 750 when fully warmed up.

Can you guys let me know what your cold idle is at? After sitting for at least 8hrs.

Thanks.

Sounds about normal. If you are getting a random misfire you may need a coilpack and or plugs

the scale stops at 500 on the gauge 400 is way to low and i doubt the motor would even run at that low

Very much the same 750 is normal rpm; so +/- 50 when not too cold and warmup.

All depends on how cold it is. When it was about -30f years back I had a 97 RL idling at 1800 till it got warm.

When mine sat at work at -15, the idle jumped to 1750 and then dropped to 1000 fairly quickly.

My random misfire wasn't random enough. It allways happened when the engine was cold and my idle was at about 1100. Turns out I previously replaced the plugs, seafoamed, and even swapped coils and still no help.

I figured it wasn't random enough and allways happened when the engine was still warming up and noticed the slightly low idle. I did cleanout my IACV a while back so I knew that wasn't it. Also I fixed/cleaned my intake bypass which also contributed to the problem. Lastly, which I think has fixed the problem (knock on wood), it's been 10 days now, is replacing the MAP sensor. My cold idle went up a bit to 1500+. I think the MAP was under reporting the air according to some sites I've read and somehow cause low cold idle.
