Anyone bid on this so-called mod? Sounds good in theory, but maybe that's all...

Last time I checked, the temperature needle in my TL has NEVER EVER EVER moved from slightly below center while driving. I would take a guess that if this 'bypass' was installed, the needle still wouldn't move.
(I might not understand the mod though)

I'm guessing that he'd send you a couple lengths of rubber tubing and (maybe) an inline coupler and show you how to splice the hoses that carry coolant through the throttle body. Ripoff indeed.
