MPG with mods...

hello!

i would like to know your mpg with any mods that you have on the car now compare to stock without any mods...
did you see any difference? 1-2mpg diff? or...?
will the aem cold air intake make my mpg go down?
hows the intake sound on freeway drivings?

thank you!

Well, it's kind of a catch-22. The AEM and Injen Intake technically should improve your MPG b/c of improved airflow, however, you drive harder when the car is modded, so your MPG tends to stay the same or decrease. Depends what kind of driver you are. Most people who mod, drive a little harder once the car is modded, so obviously that will have a negative impact on your MPG.

As for the sound of the intake... unless your right below or in VTEC range, you barely know it exists. At freeway cruising speeds the car sounds stock.

Do a search, you can find a lot more information b/c this has been discussed several times.
