I went to acura today for service & afterwards i noticed a mark on my car. The manager said it was not his responsibility. Can i file a suit. What is the law?

Years ago I had an issue with a dealer in the SF bay area. Same situation. Small dent in my right rear quarter panel. I had to take them to small claims court. I had pics before and after as evidence and a friend for a witness. I won and the dealer had to pay me the estimates that I supplied to the court. The dealer really had no defense either.

jpeart0 did it right. Unfortunately I doubt you have before pics available. Even if you did, I would assume any lawyer would demand that they have a time and date stamp on them.
If the dealer won't fix it, you're probably out of luck.

Well I took my ex's Accord to Gillman Honda in Houston. They hit the bumper and made a huge a$$ dent. They said that since I signed off that there was damage (rock chips) they said that they werent responsible for it.
At first they were like ok you pay half for a new bumper and we pay half. $600 No freaking way. Then I called corporate at Honda and filed the claim and email the District manager and spoke to him. Bsically took me 2 weeks and finally they agreed to pay and fix the car at their expense. What morons.

I did not have dated pics and lawyers are not normally a part of small claims court that I know of. The dealer just couldn't dispute me cuz they had nothing going but talk. The customer should always be right!!!!Originally posted by NSXNEXT
