Escort Passport 9500i or Valentine 1 or don't waste your money. I went with the Passport because I like the GPS feature so I can lock out certain signals if I want, the Valentine 1 lets you know which direction the signal is coming from. I didn't care too much about that though, I just want to know if there is one nearby and when it's out of range.

it only takes cops a couple seconds to get your speed, so if youre flying down the highway and the cop is just cruising with radar off, and the cop spots you out, points the radar gun at you and turns it on, there is no way you have enough time to slow down
trust me, i'm talking from experience, and i own a Valentine One, and that pisses me off even more

my advice: go on craigslist and find a used V1 (cuz its just badass) i got mine for 220. Dont be too confident once you have it and go too fast on the road, cops are everywhere man, everywhere

I have the V1 and i absolutely love it! Some might not the price that comes along with it though. Having the directions where the signal is coming from is worth the money IMO.

Even with the radar detector, my eyes are always on the road on the lookout for po-pos still.

I also have a valentine 1, i would recommend it to anyone but its a little pricy but definitely worth it.

Bel's are pretty good. They pretty much have the same detection circuitry but the higher end have more whiz-bang features.
