What's the drop?

Having put CLS rims on my 00TL the wheel gap between the tire and fender is much more noticeable. I'd like to lower it slightly. The choices are Comptech and HR OE sports. The comptech website states the drop is 1.25" front and 1.0" rear. This site lists the comptech drop as 1.75" and 1.5" rear. The H&R website list the drop as .75" front and .5" rear while this site list .75" drop both front and rear. Well which is it? I don't want my car to look dropped. I just want to even out that gap. The comptech sound good at 1.25 but 1.75 might be too much. Or are the HR's drop good enough. Opionion's greatly appreciated.

I am going to do the springs soon and have been reading all the posts on this topic for several months now. It seems that the H&R OE springs will give you about 1" of drop after they settle for a few weeks, even though the manufacturer claims a drop of only about half an inch. That is the drop i am going to do. The Comptech springs drop 1.5" in the rear and 1.75 in the front. Thats too much drop for me becuase i have the body kit and inevitably i would damage the front under body spoiler lip on a parking barrier or steep curved driveway somewhere if i went lower than an inch.

After a search, it's seems that actual drops on tl/cl are more like

Comptech : 1.5/1.25 front/back
H&R OEM : 1.0/1.5 front back

(yes, back is more than front, don't know why other than the H&R was designed for the accord)

Is the H&R OE rear dropped that much? Who has verified that?

Front fender has more wider opening space compares to the rear so it looks slammed on the rear. But I call it EVEN!!

i'm still undecided on whether or not to choose O.E. Sports or Sport.

i got my GF the Sports and they look great, but i would like to see one with the O.E.

does it ride any differently than the sports?
