whats the diff. btwn tein ss and basic?

since they are adjustable, whats the diff. btwn tein ss and basic?

basic does not have adjustable dampening.

in practical terms it means that the basic will work fine at median settings but as you push the limits, it will either be too hard or too bouncy potentially.

i wouldn't get the basic unless you have driven a car with them on and know them to feel right

will the SS provide as smooth as a ride as my current stock suspension?

is the ~$400 diff. really worth it?

the basic's will be very firm..Because they are not adjustable , they make them more firm to make up for the fact that you can not adjust them yourself and they also need to be rebuilt more often , because they are set to the firmmest setting..Just spend the extra money for the adjustable , you will thank yourself in the long run..

Nope, the BASICS are just coilovers and non adjustables. I have the SS and I love them. I still have to get my EDFC installed or just sell it, it's on the softest setting right now and it's still stiffer then stock. I want it a little stiffer, seems a little bouncy on highways.

Basics are height adjustable but not dampening (ie. hardness) adjustable. Right?
