TL-S has a bigger throttle body, and the V-TEC kicks in at 3800 RPM as opposed to 4500 on the TL-P

03 TLS has perforrated leather insert on the door, the 02 TLS doesn't. 03 TL also has Onstar if you got navi.

Acutally the black wood trim depends on what color the interior is. Blackwood goes with ebony leather.

TLS also include VSA which includes TCS. While the TLP only comes with TCS.

Also the TLS red lines at 6900 rpm. TLP red lines at 6600 rpm.

WTF is wrong with you? You ask what the difference were between the TL and TL-S and that's what everyone was trying to answer. You were expecting the TL-S to be worst then the TL? TL-S is a sporter and later model, of course it will have more features.

tlp

funny i replaced my 99tlp at 137,000miles, and the worest part is that it only warranty up to 100,000 miles therefore I had to pay out of my pockets for the replacement. By the way I bought the car at 116,000miles, therefore I don't know if the tranny was replace before hand.
