Was it P0601 P0602 P0603?
This is probably a problem with the PCM. Hopefully they'll replace that for free as a part of the transmission, but it seems like someone else had the PCM go bad recently and it was something like $900 and Acura wouldn't do anything for him.

Powertrain Control Module... or more commonly known as the ECU.
I was asking if there was another code with the P0600, because I think it indicates where the communication link failure happened. The PCM communicates with many different parts of the diagnostics system, and if there's a communication failure, it should say where that happened.

I just checked with a friend.
The code indicates an external problem. In other words, there's a OBDII port communication failure with the scanner. It could be a bad scanner, bad connection, or something else.
It reminds me last time I had an O2 sensor failure, I hooked up a scanner to the port and it had an error. I simply tried again, and it went through. So give it another try. If it still doesn't work, then try a different scanner.
Good luck, and sorry about the misinformation above.
