what is your most proudest MOD & $$

what was the part that you added to your TL then test it for the first time and said something like.....

"Damm!!!, this should of been the first thing i added to my TL!!, I can feel/see the difference, this was definately worth the money and more!!!"
AND How much was it (for those of us who are just starting to mod)

Only ONE thing.

I didn't realize how much I needed them until I got them...so much better to have privacy at night...especially when you got women in your car!!!

Front mesh grille! (idea jacked from @cUr@-TL, but he longer has it )

It really sets my tl aside from all the other 99-01's even though the grille is small compared to the size of the whole car. It's subtle, clean, and unique IMO. Plus it's DIY and costs only ~$10. What can be beat that other than perhaps removing the intake resonator for no charge?

cleared headlights. Makes a world of difference for the '02/'03 TL, even more so than the '99-'01.

i would have to say the oem underbodykit spoiler kit. I always wanted to get it but wasnt able to find a decent deal. The dealer wanted 1600installed and the cost benefit just overruled that. Now that i have it, i would have to say it really does set the car off

At first, I was going to say AEM CAI.

But I thought about it for another second, and I realized I couldn't live without the headers. They added an aggressive sound to the engine note, although not as pronounced as the CAI's, and the extra power is just amazing.

The day that I take the headers off my car is the day she's either totalled or I'm selling her (latter case most likely not to happen for a long time ).

how much?? im working more on the steering and the handling on my car rather than its speed right now. i have a strut bar right now, but i always wanted to get sways in too.

for now im proud of my brembo cross-drilled/slotted rotors (approx.350) + red painted calipers (caliper paint $5 at pepboys). i love the look of the holes and slots with that bright red caliper through my spokes!

other than that i gotta love the free mods. resonator removal, cleared headlamps, and chromed shift plate (99exclusive)! nothing compares to the feeling of improving your cars' looks without drilling a hole through your wallet, just a few hours of effort!

I got my sway kit here:

I'm pretty sure you will be able to find cheaper if you search around. Enjoy!
