what would you guys pick

i think that ive decided to go with comptech or mugen. After riding to work with my friend this morning, i dont think i can take the drone or loudness of a borla at 7 am everyday for 45 minutes to work. He has a 00 V-6 accord coupe. ok here is the question though. Would you guys go for comptech and headers or mugen exhaust w/o headers. Ive got about 2 g's to play with. Does the mugen justify the cost with additional power compared to a comptech, or does the comptech match it. And im sure a comptech with headers will destroy a mugen. Let me know what you think.

I dont think the Mugen exhaust has any power increase over the Comptech. The the exhaust alone only add a few horsepower. I belive what you pay for in the Mugen is the presitiege that it is made in Japan. Also, from what I hear, the Mugen is as quiet as stock if not more quiet.

My suggestion would be to get the headers and the comptech exhaust if you are intrested in the power increase. But listen to the Comptech exhaust before you buy so you know what to expect.

I'd go Comptech header & exhaust. You'll boost your HP & get a nice exhaust note.

Comptech told me that for my TL-S, I could expect an additional 32 hp to the wheels w/ the headers and another 5-6 w/ the exhaust. So you're probably talking about 310 or so total at the crank w/ both on the TL-S. Just some additional info for you.

Some people have bought the Comptech exhaust only to want to get rid of it due to the noise. The Mugen is supposed to be much more quiet.

I would get the headers and save for the Mugen,or perhaps headers and a CAI if you don't already have one. It seems that people get the exhaust upgrades mostly for looks, anyways... I don't understand why, but it seems to be the macho thing to do. I'm not out to impress anyone, but I'd sure like headers, Mugen exhaust, and CAI for more power.
