Well, just as I left for DC, my dad buys the car he's been planning to buy for me.. and when I call back..i found out it had 80 miles on the car before we get it. I dont' know why my dad wasn't even thinking..that's like paying for the used one.

tons of anger pent up..and i hear the car's already been keyed.... and has nearly 2000 miles..i haven't even driven it yet... I just don't wanna come home to a USED car. rediculous... i'm seriously thinking about leaving DC just to go and take care of the car like it SHOULD be.

anyhow.. already thinking about getting an AEM CAI,..first mod..then go for springs and struts.

btw, does anyone have the 5zigen dual exhaust? comptech or those?

alright..enough... keep up with the interesting comments and ideas..i just love this board.... i just have to read about every mod and idea available. later guys.

 

I would love for somebody to buy me a car, but that won't happen. Sounds like you got a free car, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

thanks for your reply... i guess i was just venting some daily anger. The weather's just not to great here..and i think I should do less complaining than I am.

Thing is, we all know VERY WELL that the 80-100 miles that was on the car when my dad bought it, were the 80-100 miles that some crazy guy gunned the engine and killed the breaks... (just like we all did when we took it for a test drive.) I've never had that new car feeling.

I've spent my non-busy hours at work planning on modifications I plan on doing. We'll just have to see which one of those are actually worth it.

80 Miles? That wOuld drive me crazy too! It's like someone taking your ride out to go on a weekend vacation to another town.

Or worse yet, using it as a DEMO or just driving it around for the heck of it. I made a deal on a Lexus GS (located in the show room) and found out later that it had 135 miles, and refused to take it, so I got a newer one with 25 miles, which is still a lot, but reasonable.

80 Miles? Where could they have gone for 80 miles?

About the Keying issue, why do people do that? I think it's just jealousy that makes them do this, this is sooo wrong. I hope they have what is coming to them too, which is harsh punishment in any sort of form. Wrong to mess with with people's property that way for no reason at all.

Some member on here, put it nicely, people are just jealous and don't like it when others drive nice cars.
