No idea how it will look like. It's probably going to be faster than the '03s since it will have 280hp. BTW, how fast do you want to go? If you want a fast car, get a Ferrari.

It'll be a TL for 2004. Check this autonews site.

I was all set to believe that website Tatewaki, until I read the following: "RL: Forget the talk about a rear-drive V-8 flagship. Acura's top Japanese and American executives say the audience for rwd is too small, and they have no intention of producing a V-8. The redesigned 2004 RL likely will be fwd or awd and powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 mated to a five-speed automatic."

I've read in several automotive magazines, and several newspapers about Acura's intention to build an awd or rwd v-8 powered sedan with about 400-475hp. I believe it was C&D not sure though that also had an artist's rendition of how the car will look.

Unlike Nissan, Mazda and Mitsubishi, Honda and Acura holds their value pretty well. Buying a car is just like buying a computer, you can never keep up.

i also heard that honda has purchased the allwheel drive system from subaru... excuse me "leased"... and since i would doubt it will be in the new accord anytime soon, only likeliness is that the TL will get the AWD along with the RL... all rumors of course, cant be too sure til they officially release specs

I love hearing all these rumors that get started about the new TL..

There won't be a V8 from Honduh in 2004.. forget about it..
as for AWD, maybe in 2005..

I think they should work on their tranny first before they start getting into that AWD deal.

AWD isn't all that farfeched if you ask me. Honday already have CR-V and Pilot with AWD, and Odessey is in need for AWD to stay competitive. It'd not surprise me if they lauch AWD Odessey, Accord and TL at the same time. After all, these three cars come from the same platform.

Lightbulb 2004TL

Does any body remember the early picture of the new accord released by motortrend?
The new accord looks nothing like it except the head lights a little bit. Well, I think that picture will probably be the new TL.

The front looks more like an Acura than a Honda. It is too pointy to be an Accord. So I think you guys should look for that issue and think a little of what i am saying.
