When does VTEC engage on the type S? And when do the secondary intake runners open?

On my accord V6, i could hear VTEC engage around 3500. Is it the same on the S or is it higher? I think i hear it come one around 5500.

 

try searching for that, i think i remember someone saying 4000 though...

 

The actuator opens at 3800, VTEC engages at 4800.

 

I seem to recall the dual stage induction actuator switching at 4100 rpms and VTEC engaging at 5300 rpms.
