What is the VTEC engagement point on the type s?
When does VTEC engage on the type S? And when do the secondary intake runners open?
On my accord V6, i could hear VTEC engage around 3500. Is it the same on the S or is it higher? I think i hear it come one around 5500.

DUAL STAGE INDUCTION SYSTEM >
The dual-stage induction system in the TL Type S adapts to the needs of the moment. As the engine speed exceeds 3,800 rpm, a butterfly valve opens, allowing air to rush into the combustion chamber. The positive-flow resonance is suddenly replaced by the charge condition with an airflow-accelerating, inertial charge condition. This forces a high volume of air into the cylinders, producing a natural "supercharger" effect that further broadens the torque curve.
VTEC TECHNOLOGY >
Even the workings of the Acura VTEC™ system were adapted to meet TL Type S performance requirements. At a given engine speed, the intake rocker arms transition to actuation by high-lift, long-duration cam lobes. In the TL Type S, the activation threshold was raised to 4,800 rpm, and exclusive camshafts were introduced. These camshafts provide longer intake valve lift duration and more valve overlap to optimize power output in the TL Type S.
