What is the subframe?
As some of you know from my other post, I got into an accident a couple of weeks ago. Well, the shop doesn't have my car ready yet, because they are saying that they are waiting for the subframe to come in. They mentioned something about the unibody/suspension. I'm worried that something actually happened to the frame itself and they aren't telling me. What is this subframe thing?

The subframe is a removable structure that all the suspension and motor attach to.

If its been in an accident it needs a 4 wheel laser alignment
standard procedure at body shops
The only way to know if everything is put together right and the car is straight
Anything you dont understand- ask the repair place to explain and point out on your car what they are doing and why- its your right, and when you sell the car someday- you can honestly speak about the repairs being done correctly
