hey guys..

as some of you may know my buddy is lookin to swappin in a j32 6 speed into his 2.2CL and we know that the subframe has to be switched out for the V6 one..

so my question is, would the subframe from a 98-02 accord coupe/sedan v6 bolt up to our cars? or does he have to grab one from the 3.0CL?

i was always under the impression that the subframe from the accord & the CL are the same but i just wanna make sure

I think he needs the j30 CL one, but I'm not certain

I used my stock subframe (3.0).

 

how far is he into this swap, because swapping a V6 in a 4cyl front end is a tuff swap.

That's what he'd probably need for the 2.x chassis, as I've said b4 and ghost said, swapping 6 into a 4 chassis is gonna be tough

 

idk it seems like its small talk at this point, thats why i asked how far he was into it.
