what is reset timing and idle adjustments?

what is reset timing and idle adjustments?
What is reset timing and idle adjustments? Can i go to a reg mechanic shop or does the dealer have to this?

There is no timing adjustment for this car. It's regulated by a sensor/computer (I'm not sure which). When the timing gets far enough out of spec the sensor/computer has to be replaced.

how come then this is part of 30K and 60K maintenance requirements?

From the factory service manual. I'd say they don't change it but rather check to see if it's in spec.
