What to put on for Winter(Tire related)??

What to put on for Winter(Tire related)??
I really don't want to use the stock 17" in the snow when and IF it snows..... so, I am thinking about buying a set of 16" rims(prefer TL rims)... couple question though...
1. Doesn't TL-P rims(any year)fit on TLS??
2. How about steel rims?? 15" or 16"......
I am open to ANY suggestions you have.....

Just recently picked up a set of 16in aluminum wheels off 2001 Honda Accord V6 Coupe with 205/60/16 Pirelli Winter Ice Sport Asymmetrical for $1100. The wheels are 16x6.5 and are +55 offset. The TL-S wheels are 17X6.5 and are +55 offset. Perfect fit. The tires are the same size as the TL-P.
