what mods would a second gen type s need to beat a 98 mustang cobra?
i have an intake and headers what else would i need to keep up with a stock cobra convertable?

intake, headers, exhaust, spacers, pulleys, S/C or turbo.
or you could just throw a the turbo or SC with pulley. and be close but you never just do that you should already have everything else done already. you need to knock off 1 second. thats quite a bit of time.
lightweight wheels would help out too

stock cobra with a bad driver u might have a chance with all the bolt ons. thats a big maybe. 01clsstock if u want ill take a shot at him and see how it goes atleast then ull have an idea lol

the coupe's stats are 0-60 in 5.9 and the car has high mileage and is a convertable plus the driver has only had modded honda's so i'm hoping he wont be able to handle the torque

lots and lots of VTEC stickers... take the HP difference and divide by 5HP per sticker to get the number of stickers you need....

Hardly anything, the vert is a fucking slug. I mean unless it's super/pro charged then you will need ridiculous bolt on's. A stock Cobra of that year only runs a high 13 to a low 14 with a PRO driver.

so all you guys thing is absolutely impossible that a 14.3/14.4 second auto car could beat a low 14 second cobra with high mileage and a stick driven by a novice?
