the latest one that just happened today is a Pontiac Tran Sport minivan... I know, played with him a little, dusted him and just slowed down to like 5MPH and accelerate again, and repeat that, it was fun though. and yeah, that's my friend

Mostly I just get heat from 528i drivers. No one else seems to bother me. I used to get much more action when I had my Integra. When the 528i guys try though, they always lose. I'd love an opportunity to race an IS300 or 328i. I'm sure they'll come at some point.

Solara and V6 Camry. I also refuse to let anyone pass on the freeway, but that ain't dusting IMO.

Passing on the freeway is a blast, too. I floor it as I begin to move over, and by the time I'm in the laft lane the car is on full boil and up to 85-90 in no time at all.

Raced my friend on the freeway in a Infinity i30. I beat him but he put up a really good fight. Both stock and only won by maybe half a car length.

A 328Ci... but it wasn't even a contest... we floored it from the light and by the time I hit 70 he was at leats a car length behind... I had 4 people in the car, climate control was on as usual and he only had a girl with him... the guy was revving and trying to show off at the light... LOL

Smoked a 1992 Acura Legend 5 speed manual. Just some random car... I was driving through Pioneer Square and this guy was trying to be fast. Pulled next to him at the light on first ave (past downtown, towards Sears). He had 4 people in the car, I had 3. Put it in D4, left TCS on. I had him beat by a car length or so up to about 70, stopped at a red light. Raced again and had him beat up to 90, we were coming up on an intersection and I wasn't sure if someone was going to try a right in front of me (I was in the right lane) so I took my foot off the gas for a second. My car shifted to 4th and I stomped the gas again but it was enough for him to pass me.

Kept racing all the way to Alki and we stopped and talked. The fool was drunk, at one point he passed me on the right and I had to hit the brakes or kill us all. I was on my way back to the house, coming from QFC with some Coronas. Anyway, both our cars are stock (engine-wise). His '92 Legend has a 3.2 liter with 200hp, not bad.

He did get smoked though.

Cool

The last dude i raced was a Pontiac Grand Prix. The dude was showing off, well trying to show off in front of his girl while driving next to me. When we got to a light and actually raced, he put up a good fight at first then I just smoked his a$$. A Vette then got into the race and then I chickened out. Wasn't worth trying to catch up to the Vette. No contest.

There is this V6 Camry that always materialize right on my a$$ every morning I commute. I don't know where he comes from but he's there when I see my reaview mirror. And this guy always *tries* to race me every single morning! It gets pretty annoying so I always dust him with ease. You know what it is... I think he always makes wrong decisions as to which lane to take and he always gets stuck, while I choose the right lane... and adios!

Peace.

How come you guys also get challenged upon so easily? I have never had anyone try to race me - unless it's arranged or something. And I usually don't initiate races because the first time i did it on I-5 to Vancouver starting at 80mph, i was killed by this Prelude SH (i am thinking he had supercharger or turbo of some sort). Our 4th gear sucks so I would watch out next time not to start off too fast...

I hung with a Corvette today. It was older, pre-1986 because it didn't have a third tail light. The 0-60 times for a 1986, according to Chevrolet in their Motor Trend magazine, is 6.5 seconds. Not too bad for a 4-door sedan! My oh my how cars have changed in 15 years!!

Tell me about, Danny. I have taken plenty down of them! Those cars, I heard, are underpowered, aren't they?

Anyway, both our cars are stock (engine-wise). His '92 Legend has a 3.2 liter with 200hp, not bad.
Be careful with the Legends! I got killed by one really bad a while ago, to my big surprise. Somebody on here told me that the car was modified though.

Smoked a fully mod ford probe gt by 4 car lengths.

Got smoked by a Eclipse. Had it off the line and was about a 1-2 lengths ahead when i heard a pop and boom he blew by me. After two lights finally caught up and asked. Damn NOS......

Lucky younguns. Here in SoCal, home of Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Hollywood, we have ferraris at every other stop light and sports cars growling, ready to fly. Too bad everyone behind em is like 65+ or else I'd give em a try.

I could only get like and early 90's Accord to race me. Not much of a race either. He revved his "whopping" 4 cyl. at me at a red light. We took off! He was in the center lane and I was on the right. By the time I hit like 35 or 40 I was a car lenght ahead and decided to cut all the way to the left and let him catch up and pass. Then got behind him and back over to the left and next to him. Essentially circling him. I think he then realized that the TL is faster than he anticipated. Needless to say, at the next red light he didn't rev nor did he want to race.

Let me reiterate...Accord!

Can't wait for my headers!
