Even if its not car parts or accessories? I would think a die cast model or toy would be exempt from this rule.

The mods said that any group buy was not allowed, I did not think I was breaking the rukes since I was not soliciting sales, but rather interest. However, the mods have the right to delete the thread and I will oblige by the rules of the forum....

About the diecast. I contacted about 3-4 manufacturers of diecast models and other such toys. 2 of the manufacturers have responded and stated that they can't do it, one of the manufacturers said he could do it, but the minimum he can do it for is 1,000 units (that is his break even point, or so he claims) and that is at $57 a piece. There is no way in hell I am going to shell out ~$60k to get a diecast made for a few people.... The lone manufacturer contacted has not yet responded..... but to display to the community that I am not giving up, I found a list of toy diecast manufacturers and will start to send out letters to all of them.... I want this bloody model.... I mean they have fucking diecast models of bullshit VW Beetles, c'mon a Beetle???

I am still working and will keep you guys updated periodically..... late.

I agree and didn't think you were selling anything, just gauging interest. Kinda :hitler: ish to delete it.

1000 units sounds about right, there would be no profit if he sets up the dies for only a handfull of units. I wish companies would make them though, i wonder why they haven't.... you are right, even the dam beetle has a diecast, that just sucks.
i hope they make the tl, even 04 model would be ok (GO 02tl!!!
