Just finished washing my car and noticed that the acura logo on the factory wheels is nothing more than a cheap decal and its starting to peel off. I am talking about the center wheel logo, between the lugnuts.

Anyone else have this happen?

 

wouldn't be surprised that it's just a sticker. i've just noticed that the logo spins around, not fixed.

 

Yup, happened to me too. I got to dealer to give a new one.

 

Yeah, it's a center cap-type insert; you can pop it out and put in a different one if you like...

 

I noticed that too. Will probably get dealer to replace them before warantee expires. I also noticed that the lugnuts have a tendency to have a coating of rust on them. It comes off if I scrub them, but gets a bit annoying because it keeps coming back.

 

i doubt that its from the lug nuts.......it sounds like brake dust that has oxidized with the moisture in the air..... my car came with chrome lug nuts.
