Just got back from new york...and on the way back I was having some difficulty cleaning my windsheild with my frozened wiper. Anyone have an idea of what kinds of good wiper to use during the winter time??
one more thing...some new yorker gave me a dent on my car....damn!

Look for the ones with a black rubber boot over the metal parts of the wiper. Only get one for the driver side. The passenger wiper is too close to the hood... the tallness of this wiper might make the arm hit the hood.
Also, you might want to consider Prestone de-icer. Instead of being blue, it's yellow. It works really well in freezing drizzle. Instead of stopping to scrape like everyone else, you can spray the windshield and keep on going.

You're welcome.
It was nice to be around this past week.
Tomorrow is back to work, and I might not be around too much again.
This board can be such a distraction sometimes

I WAS TOLD NOT TO USE THE WIPERS WITH THE BOOTS ON THEM DUE TO THE FACT THAT THERE IS NO ROOM FOR THE AIR TO PASS THRU THEM, WHICH UNDER HIGH SPEEDS WILL MAKE THE WIPERS COME OF THE WINDSHIELD, I WAS GUIDED TO USE THE BOSCH STAINLESS STEEL ONES AND THEY HAVE BEEN GREAT, NOT PROBLEMS YET, AND I AM FROM MICHIGAN, WE ALREADY GOT MORE THAN 3 FEET OF SNOW!!

I've never had problems with them being affected by wind while driving.
If I'm using my wipers, I'm not driving over 80 MPH for sure!
However, I do notice that the very ends of the wipers do not hit the windshield at times (do not follow the contour of the window well enough). Even so, they provide superior cleaning when there is clumps of snow or ice.
I switch back to the Acura blades and frames in March. They are better at high speed and with plain rain.
