I think with the computer generation, more and more of us are able to use our minds to make money and use money like crazy(I've matured on this after I became a dad @19). I was 17 when I bought a GS400, it was used though!

Talking I got your back...

Hey vperkins2 -- I know what you mean about being oncall...
Nobody wants to be on the test floor at three in the morning.

That's why make 'em kick more butt (reliably) everytime....

Exclamation silly statistic

Everyone,

Do you realize how many people that drive a car like the Type-S are people with $$$? From what I remember, over 75% of America's wealth are those over 50. Think about it... how much $$$ will you have when you're retirement age?

Secondly, those people over 50, how many use the internet to read about their car? Relatively few... only the enthusiasts. How many would find this board? Wouldn't those who are 'computer literate' be the ones to post something up?

Lastly, I'm 26 and not in the IT field... I'm in the pharmaceutical industry... (not street drugs either!)

Just my $0.02...

34 - Marketing Management

I wish I could've afforded a car like this at 22-23, but as someone mentioned earlier, the ladies can be expensive to up-keep, especially ones that had a VP for a dad......

After the wife finished school and got her career started, the cars started getting nicer.

An old sailor once said: "That's the thing with women and sailboats - the rigging is always more expensive than the hull....."

CH-TLS -- Yep that was me, talkin' about the women...
Still hope I don't get any flame outs about that...

Fatsmith -- Nope, I'm completely on my own (read: financially independent & living on my own) since 24. Right down to the my TLS' paper work, that HVT holds the note for.

But, the trade off is I'm focused on my career (read: don't have time to date because I work so friggin' much -- gotta keep those mainframes comin').

Siggghhhh...
