depends on price and what you are prepared to spend. just remember to look at service records and repairs done. like timing belt, suspension components, brakes, tranny slipeage. if everything checks out right, then 160k isn't that bad, probably go another 50k or more.

the person is asking for $7500 which i think is alot for the miles. but i was thinking that about 5K would be a good deal.

wel, I guess 7500 is too much. you don't wanna spend more than 6K on this car.

I got my 2000 TL with 115K for 7500 almost 6 months ago. so do the math!!

I've seen a 99 TL with 195K+. I think u'll be aight if you have records of all service done and know what problems may arise later. Then u'll be prepared.

TL's do run a long time, tranny may need to replaced, but if it's a 99 then the tranny problems are far less likely to happen then for a 00-03 model. 200k is nothing for J32 block, bet 300k is attainable if tranny holds up or you get it replaced at some point. it is all about how the person took care of the car. if he was anal and car is immaculate and he has all service records, then 7500.00 is not a bad deal. i would offer 6500.00 and be ready to pay 7k if you really like it and things mentioned before are there. good luck!
