What do you guys think?

Better to build a 300-400hp TL-P motor or swap a TL-S and build it? I'm going all motor by the way.

Let me know guys. I'm getting a good quote from one of the performance shops around here.

Port and polish, cleaning the head, rebuilding the head and bottom. Should I just get the CL Type S motor with 6 speed and build that and then swap? I mean I'm working with a 6k budget. From what I've researched the CL type S motor would bolt right on there with the tranny all I would have to do is deal with wiring.

I really dont see getting a realistic 400hp from the work you have listed; type-S motor or not.

I don't know what else they're going to do but I asked them if they could build me a motor somewhere around those numbers and they said it is possible and gave me a quote. They are JE Import Performance located in Baltimore, MD so..I don't know. I got money to spend so I really don't care.

the blocks are teh same but there are differences in the sensors over the manual motor and auto motor.

I dont know what they are going to do to achieve 400, but id say 300 is obtainable fairly easy. id look into a 3.5 conversion as well
