Has anyone here had a bent or damaged rim and took it to one of those shops that can repair them??

Do you folks recommend repairing a rim? Will it be just as good and as reliable as it was before?

Im just looking for pros and cons and experiences.

I called a place up and they can have my bent rim straightened out for about 100 bucks. I can't find a single used one for that price. And a new one from Acura is about 300 bucks!

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

 

My brother in Law had it done on his 00 Prelude and it came out as good new, all vibration was gone. He hit a pothole thought it was just tire initially but found out later it was the rim, he paid 105.00

 

fins a good shop and they will do a good job no problem
