What do you guys think 2 10" subs on stock speaker???

TDK CDs worked on my 99 TL but even TDK's are not working now...I'm so sad.
So Im planning to put cd changer into my trunk and change subs to two 10"s. Would two 10"s be good on stock speakers??? ? ? Is there anything else to change to put 10" subs into 99TL? Thanks

Why waste money on a CD changer when you can add an iPod?

Your question doesn't make sense. Two 10s won't run off stock speakers mainly because the stock speakers don't put out any signal. I hope you meant to say "runn two 10s from the stock AMPLIFIER." but then that doesn't make much sense either b/c the stock amp isn't very powerful and it's 1ohm.

I suggest purchasing an aftermarket amplifier to run those 10s.

i would mount the cd changer under your passenger seat or somewhere else if you are going to put subs in your trunk. the vibration from the subs might make is skip. don't really know from expirence but it might.

yes, two 10's would sound fine with the stock Bose system. I have 1 10in and u can still hear the trebel fine. Of course its gonna be a lot more bass than what you have now, but it will sound solid with the stock speakers.

I agree. I tried the fm transmitter with the iPod and it sucks. Now I'm using a cassette adapter and the sound quality is really good.

It maybe bec. of your mp3's bitrate. Read this article:

My mp3s has an almost cd sound quality....good highs and lows. It could also be your cassette adapter. To tell you honestly...i don't know but I'm happy with my ipod and cassette adapter.
