what do u guys think of this setup...?
ok... theres a guy around here (miami, florida) that has a '02 or '03 wdp tl-p. SUPPOSEDLY he is getting the 20" hre spinners. they are coming in december. he is also getting bags. i also heard that the rims are custom made so that they fit ur car. honestly... i think the guy is a moron. with the money he is spending on his car... he could buy a wayyyy better car. as for the bags... isnt it pointless to put on bags when ur gonna be riding on 20's? oh well... i just wanted to know what u guys thought of it. i think the guy is just mad cuz when he saw me going to school in my 2003 ssm tl-s... i took his parking spot... where everyone could pass by with their jaws scraping the floor
. oh yea, i almost forgot... the car is a lease. one last thing... hes 18 or 19 yrs old.
p.s. im not trying to hate but come on man... the guy is spending +/- $10k on a $30k car. if u can afford all that crap... get a freaking escalade or benz.

Is it so bad to be a high school student that bought a TL with his OWN money. I'm sorry, but I hate when ppl that assume that since they drive anything above a civic that there parents bought it for them. I do agree that some people's parents buy them very nice car, I know 2 ppl one who has an Escalade and the other a Land Cruiser, but this is a very small case. I always get people telling me, glad ur daddy bought ur car??, I just drive off. Some kids actually got a job at 14 worked hard and saved their money so they could buy themselves a nice car. It just pisses me off sometimes, and I know opinions on this will vary. And if u dont think a kid can make alot of money, my bro was making 30 doallars an hour programming and setting up websites while in high school.

I could say that I have been guilty of this statement also in the past. But an 18yr could have the money to buy a nice car without being into anything. I myself some almost 23yrs ago purchased a nice new car at 18yrs. The car dealer told my mother to put it in her name because of insurance reasons. When my father died I was still in school. He had life insurance coverage from the military. That coverage paid me & me only $720 a month for a total of around $22,000. So I wanted a car & I got a brand new 1980 HONDA PRELUDE. This was HONDAs top car at that time. The car cost over $8,000 & that was alot of money for a small car back in them days.
