I touched the HID bulb?should i leave it or clean it?If clean,what should I use??

 

just leave it.. i hear there very sensitive.. could be wrong though

 

Check for prints. The oils on your fingers are killer on bulbs.

 

definitely use a cotton ball and cleaning alcohol to get rid of the oil from your fingers...
or else say bye bye to your HID is a very short time

Be sure to use 90% or 91% alchohol and not that 70% crap, that still leaves a small amount oil behind.

 

None of all this needed.. Just use bounty paper towel or something else that is soft and is not going to produce scratches.. even a 100% cotton shirt will do and just wipe the glass. THe main objective is to remove the any finger prints, which contain oil in them, and this will heat up, as the bulb heats up and end up crackign the glass. If this happens in your housing, then gas will end up fogging up your housing and there is nothign you can do at that point, and will have to buy a new housing and bulb.

No alcohol needed, just wipe with the stuff that I mentioned, and you shall be fine.
