What to do??

Just bought a 03 TLS w/ Nav on June 10th and I think I want a different color now. Not the biggest fan of dark interior and I think I want to go with the WDP model w/ tan interior. I have the anthercite Metallic color. Any ideas? Think the dealership will do me a trade or something? It has 2,000 miles on it.

You can try, but I doubt it would work. Personally, I like the black interior compared to the Parchment.

I have the same one ... actually, the WDP shows dings w/ color more easily (you can see the paint off the car door that hit me) and the parchement stains more easily and is more prone to grime/grease.

The dealership ain't gunna do anything for you. You'll get what they price that car at, and you'll probaby lose $5000.00 on the spot (from what you paid for it). I'd just start learning to enjoy the decision you made.

I agree. Yes the interior is a little bit harder to keep clean, but it doesnt get as hot in the summer time. And over all it keep a cleaner look over a longer period of time so you only have to wash it once a week, unlike darker exterior colors that show dust much more.

I agree they are not going to do anything for you.
You will take a big loss if you try to do something about it.
Just learn to live with it thats about all you can do it will grow on you.Thats why it took me about 1hour to decide on the color of my car. I have posted this story many times before but here it is again. I wanted a 2000 Firpepper Red/ Ebony combo with Navi.
That car was very hard to get in that combo with navi.
It was easy to get with parchement interior. I could even get ebony interior without Navi easy. I had been waiting 2 months for what I wanted & just got tired of waiting. I went out to the dealership one Sunday after waiting this long time. I wanted to see the list of release dates of cars. This was in Nov. of 1999 they had a car with that color combo comming in Feb 2000. The dealer tied to get me to change my color or get parchement. I did not wan't a car with light interior as I had it before on my 90 ACCORD & changed to a ebony on my 94 ACCORD. Anyway while at the dealership that day I saw new 2000 NBP with Navi. I looked the car over for 20mins just looking at it. Then on the way home I went over & over in my mind could I live with this color.
When I got home I called & told them I would take the NBP with Navi. The car that I saw was already sold but I got mine 3 weeks later. I am very happy with my choice because I always said I wanted to try a Black car.

As far as the paint goes, get some fine rubbing compound and take off the other persons paint....

As far as the grime/grease goes, are you a mechanic during the day or something..? How the hell do you get grime or grease on the INSIDE of your car.....
