What a difference a day (at the track) makes
ZodiakTL and I went to Englishtown yesterday to do some test runs.. last time, i ran a 16.75 twice (ye ye .. i know .. i need a faster car
).. the only thing that changed since then is that I changed my oil (with Mobil 1). Yesterday I ran a 16.34. I REALLY doubt an oil change will have much of an effect (.1 tops) so i think it was the weather.. first time we ran, it was very humid.. temperature was about the same i think.
ZodiakTL ran a pretty decent best time of 15.13. (he has a TLS with headers and has installed an AEM CAI since the last run). Last time his best run was about 15.6 or 15.7 I think. To be fair, this time he had a little less weight in the car (maybe 60-80 lbs less) but I dont think it made too much of a big difference.
What I'm wondering is if based on my car getting a .3 improvement seemingly from nothing, can we get a figure that will estimate the AEM CAI's improvement on Zodiaks car
