Question What Blitzsafe Adapter Do I Need?

I want to get audio in to my factory unit from my aftermarket DVD player. I have a 2000 acura TL, which has a single disk cd player.

Which blitzsafe adaptor works?

When it's installed, how does it work? Do you have to hit CD twice or something? How does the audio switching work?

Doc, here's a link to the Blitzsafe application chart: http://www.logjamelectronics.com/intcovcrossreflj.html, unfortunately I didn't see one for the Acura. I also don't know if you can use one for the Honda as they are two different units.

Question

Which manufacturer makes the best adapters for our Acura's?

I would like to hear from some people who have used these products. Should I stay away from a certain brand or just go with blitzsafe?

I don't own one, but this should allow you to find out whats compatible ... Right from the source: http://www.blitzsafe.com/blitz_appgu...tion_Guide.pdf

According to the application guide, if you just want an AUX adapter, the HON/AUX V.1 will work. Read the application guide for further compatibility.

I've heard good things about the Blitzsafe adapter, haven't really heard much about any others for our cars.

The Blitzsafe AUX adapter just emulates the OEM CD Changer, so if you have a CD in your player you would need to hit CD twice. If not, you should only need to hit it once.
