i have a black tl..i want to tint all the rear windows..no driver passenger..should i go for a light smoked tint or dark black

 

or if anyone has pics of darkk and light tint on there car would be good

 

20% is perfect for a dark interior.. thats just my opinion though

if you do a search you will come up with threads like this that have pics attached.

clearly this isnt a 2gen tl... but this was my 2000 maxima with 5% in the back windshield and back windows with 35% on the front windows and no tint on the front windshield... just a point of reference for you... byt he way i had a light grayish leather interior...

If no front door tint, then I would go with 5% on the rear window and 20% on the back doors. That will keep you out of trouble. If you had a light interior, I would say 5% for all back 3 windows.

 

like i did, go with 5% on the 3 back doors and 20% in the front. can't have other people mugging you man

 

i have 20% all around with black interior (nothing on the windshield)
i can see having no tint on my front too windows. your gunna regret not getting your front 2 windows tinted. if i were u i'd tint all of them like i already did.

This is an aged old question that people always ask. Do what you want to do and think will look good. Everyone has an opinion and who knows who is right. If I was doing only rear I wouldnt want to have really dark back end and nothing on the front two side doors.

I have 28% metallic tint.

Heres a few pictures when I had tint all the way around and when my front tint were stripped. But I have it tinted all the way around now. Car doesn't look right if the front windows are not tinted as well.

is the 70% legal CA limit for the front windows the regular window tint straight from the factory or is it just really really really light tint that one can put on the front windows? ive searched and cant find much...kinda dont wanna be worried about getting pulled over.

 

yea i already have a accord with all windows tinted..its illegal where i live to do that..thats why i was thinking of doing a light tint so the front windows dont look bad without tint

 

I had mine tinted to 15% using non-metallic tint. Non-metallic's don't look as dark, but filter extremely well, plus they don't interfer with the radio antenna. Good stuff is a bit more expensive though....
