Wetsanding Foglights... not working like wetsanding headlights >:[
Well I tried to wetsand my foglights like I did with my headlights, but it actually came out even worse than it was before. The lense looks fogged up and isn't smooth.
I used 400, 600, 1000, 2000 wetsanding sandpaper then lense restorer. It worked like a charm for my headlights, but my fogs... not so much.
Do I need to go to a even lower grit to get rid of the deep indents from gravel? Have anyone had luck with wetsanding the fogs? Buying new foglight housings is just a rip-off imo.

post a pic, i wanna see what they look like, if you wet sanded them, all the way from 400-2000, what did you polish with after you wetsanded? cuz Im guessing the headlight restorer is for plastic.. 400 is pretty harsh, should stick with 800+ for shit like that, try wetsanding them again, from 800-1000-1500-2000-2500, then use a rubbing compound with a porter cable with a cutting pad, use some polishes, makes me think this could work, but who knows.. whats the worst that could happen now...
