I got an appointment for engine mount(the big round one in front) and a new tranny!68000KMs!!!
My tranny is ok but sometimes it acts weird,so instead of just waitting they will just change now,i'm getting new one not rebuilt! you think the new TLs tranny fits on my car?2000 TL!

6mt won't fit on your car. I'm surprised they are giving you a new one and not a reman.

But then again - I've read articles that the tranny plant in Ohio produces close to 1 million trannys a year. Given how many cars Acura produces each year, most must be allocated to the TL just to keep up!

(yes - that was a joke)

Within two weeks of my tranny swap, two of my rear motormounts broke and had to be replaced...I've seen others that had the same thing happen, so be aware of the car afterwards.

Well my cat went i on thursday morning and was ready on friday morning ,that was pretty fast,i got my trany replaced ,front engine support, right axle and bettery terminals, this tranny shifts smoother that the previous one, i hope i won't have to change it again.
Oh yeah about the car feeling slower,it dosen't. But i still haven't kicked ,i'm letting it go through a "brak in "period and then i'll change the tranny oils again just to be safe.
