I went to the dealer yesterday out in Smithtown Long Island, NY to testdrive a car and the ONLY TLS they had was the demo!! The dealer said they would not be getting any more cars till mid-June.. Also her OTD price was 36,000 with NAV!?!?! Does this sound right? Are there any people from NY who can help me out??

Don't know how much demand there are for TLS' in LI but up here in the Hudson Valley all the dealers I spoke with seemed to have plenty of TLS' in stock.

As for 36,000 for OTD price that's kinda steep. Shop around. Goto the acura site and do a search on all the dealers nearest you then give them a call.

36K?? That is f*cking high!! The MSRP for a TLS w/nav is 33,700. If you are willing to drive to Jersey, I am sure you can find one and a better deal.

Thanks for your input guys...I guess the 36,000 price really just took me buy surprise, especially since I was planning on putting down 18-20 thousand and I would be financing that same amount at a rate of 6.9%. Which would make my monthly payments $360. She said shs would only go down a couple hundred even when I talked about getting 2 TLS's... Oh well, the process begins!

If 36,000 is her Out The Door price it sounds about right IF and only if she is including the tax, and all fees. Basically if this is the prie it would take to get the car to your house with absolutely no additional costs.

It basically means she is not budging from the MSRP of 33,710.

There are plenty of other dealers on LI. I got mine from Rallye in Roslyn. There are also dealerships in Valley Stream and I believe BayShore. Check the Yellow Pages. Better yet go to Rallye. They gave me one hell of a deal, I am sure they would hook you up...

I am waiting for my TL-S from Smithtown Acura (ED - Dealer) Should be in this week. The price was sticker nothing more/nothing less. They are getting deliveries every week, depending on your color choice you might have to wait up to a month.
