the guy had a trick. but it didn't work. looks kinda shitty. one option is to cover it up from the out side using black vinyl only where the matrix is. would that look really bad or not so bad. or even from the inside is a possibility. suggestions?

There is a glue that can be used on the dots so the tint can adhere better, but I dont remember the name of it. Some tint shops used, some dont. I personally wouldnt use vinyl. If I can find that info on the glue I will post again.

I didn't get that part tinted, you wouldn't know that it wasn't tinted from inside or out.

Thats pretty bad. The glue he used I think only made it worse. What brand of tint film does that installer use?

if it was just done, it will get better over time. It will never be 100% but it will get better as it cooks in the sun.

charcoal tint is almost impossible to get perfect on the matrix portion of the rear windshield. Platinum tint works great. I have it on my car and it is flawless. sorry no pics though.

is it charcoal? if it is then whoever installed your tint used the adhesive used for the platinum tints. The charcoals have a different adhesive that doesn't adhere to the dot matrix well at all.
