Talking Well Guys I Closed The Deal On The 02 Type-S Non-Navi For $22K And Iam A Owner!

Hello everyone ahwile back i posted a topic on should i buy this 02 type-s and got alot of responses i was able to purchase it for $22k and for which i closed the deal on thursday and its all myne!

I would like to say thanks for all the responses and i currently have it in the body shop getting some paint chips removed to sweeten it up a little :p

Needless to say i believe i got a hell of a deal at $22k this is all i got in the deal:

02 Type-S Non-Navi
12K Miles
ABP On Ebony Interior
Comptech Header
Comptech Springs
Blackwood Steering Wheel
O.E.M. Bodykit
Silver 19" Racinghart M6 Wheels
Extended Acura Care 7 Year 100,000 Mile Warranty!
All For $22k

The guys words in the finance room when he signed over the title to his 02 Type-S was
"Cars are bad investment i will never do again"
I just kinda sat there to myself thinking c'mon hurry up and sign the title over..

The finance guy was saying after he left with his $22k check that he got a wholesale buy bid on the car for $28K so i got a hell of a deal!

I did a complete vehicle history and had the car inspected by a professional body shop and mechanic shop all checked clear so iam being told i stole it for that price!

I will post pics when car is done, but enough yacking for now i just wanted to say thanks to all of you that influenced me to get
it i made a good decision and i love the way it drives and its quick at almost 300hp :p

Now lets hope the tranny is a tough one if not oh well i have a killer warranty "knock on wood"

02,
Congrats on the new toy. One hell of a deal! Are you sure the M6 wheels are 19"? I've been looking around and only found them up to 18"

Cheers

99 out of 100 times if the deal seems too good to be true, it is. But maybe the seller never heard of that new invention called the internet. Then there is also that thing, I forget what they call it, oh yeah, a "newspaper." They recently started running these things called "classified ads." Supposedly people list their vehicles for sale and other people offer to buy them! How cool is that!

That is a GREAT DEAL! especially considering I paid almost 10 grand more for the exact same car, minus ALL MODS! only 10 mos. ago. Hey, must have been at the right place at the right time. CONGRATS!

This is a total BS lie. If the guy in the 'finance room' said wholesale was $28K, why didn't the finance guy (or anyone else) offer the seller $28K or a little under and beat your deal by roughly $6K ESPECIALLY since the car has thousands of dollars of upgrades? If this car has a clean title and and is in even in 'good' shape, there is no way it would go for under $27K the way it is equipped.

Lieing is really bad and this is a really BAD LIE! It is ridiculous that no one else had the guts to call this one out before me.

Uh, I got my 99 TL-Navi with NO mods and 25k miles for $22k back in last august. took that car 3 years to drop down to $22k, no way in hell a modded TL-S dropped that much in under a year. I agree with MB-Telecom

Ok hell with it i was not gonna go into detail on this persons lifestyle but can you say "Drug Dealer" he had a bunch of money when he bought the car ok and well for some reason he ran out and business went bad on him he got caught!!!
So here it is 6-7 months later and he is broke ok so here iam getting ready to buy a new TL-S and he hears im gonna buy one, well so then he asks his frind to ask me if iam interested in it well so i then say sure depending on the price well he then asks the guy and he says tell him to make a offer so i did at $20k just for ****s and giggles and he countered at $22k so i then said hmmm well let me think about it ya know to make him think i might be interested and make him wonder a little, you never make it look like he is just a stupid ass if you want a deal!

So i then called him the next day and said well let me get the car and do a history report "carfax' which is 100% clear and i then had the car inspected at a professional body shop for any prior hidden repairs which was fine all origional, i then took it to acura for a complete check up and inspection and all came back great except for allignment, i then had a second opionion on the suspension and mechanics and guess what all is GOOD!

Sometimes a good deal does come around i just happen to find the stupid ass that has no sense of resale and or retail!

It is not a lie by anymeans if you would like to see a copy of the purchase order and finance ticket feel free i will make it happen.

Iam a firm believer of if it sounds too good to be true it usually is but would you take the chance on this deal at this price especially after all inspections and carfax comes back "A" ok?

I even have the origional purchase order/window sticker on the car iam the 2nd owner.

Believe it or not i bought it for $22k plus Tax & License.

Oh yea and yes it is a real TL-S ABP confirmed by Acura.

I will post pics when i get the chance.

Oh and the answer to why did the finance guy not offer him more than me to beat me out of well the finance guy is a very very very good friend of myne he has no reason to do me like that hell when we were done i tossed him $ 300 cash just for putting this together for me in a timely matter.

Not everyone is out to jack ya.

No the tranny is the origional one "knock on wood"

I dont know what else to say but it's the truth guys.

Anyhow thanks for all the replies and the opionions on the car and iam very glad i got it thanks guys! :p

As for good deals never coming around... my brother bought a
69 corvette for $500 bucks. I just about **** my pants. He drove
it for the summer and then later sold it for $10,000.

Then there's the Colt AR-15 and 5 30 round clips he got for $100 bucks.
Then later sold that for $1400.

Then the 1" snap-on driver he found in a garage sale for $1.

grrr... now that I think of it... i hate him... that bastard.
Some people just fall into it.

Call it what you want Ohio but it's the truth what reason do i have to lie for i was gonna buy a new one anyways for $30k plus i just dont understand why it is so hard for you to accept that sometimes people get a deal?
You are very right he could have very well sold it to a dealer for more but when you want to buy a car for a deal you dont tell the guy that he can get more elsewhere do ya? "Duh"

Either way i bought it for $22k if you dont want to believe me then dont i know the deal i got and maybe it bothers you i got such a good deal?

Crap im not gonna sit here and keep explaining myself and if you think its just to get attention think again joker!

To all that fed me the answers to my questions thanks again.
I will post pics when im done.

Why would this suppossed 'drug dealer' go to you and get $22K?

He OBVIOUSLY knows what the car is worth since he paid CASH for it!

He could have pawned it (sold it to car pawn shop) or driven it straight to the Acura Dealership where if it checked out (they would have spent an hour or two looking at it), they would have promptly paid him a MINIMUM $26K for it if not $27K or $28. He also could have had his money much, much faster than getting it from you!

I suppose you did the enitre deal from when your buddy's drug dealing friend called youn in well under an hour!

A dealer would have snapped it up for much more than $22K because they could have found a buyer in less than a week.

YOU ARE FULL OF ****!!!
