Weird Sound...

Can anyone help me...

I recently bought a 02 TLs and I hear a motor or something when I put the car in drive and start moving...Does this happen to anyone else?

Its probably the ABS check I think? It checks when you go 5 MPH and then 15 MPH. Should be some kind of buzz sound

you could say its a buzzing... it sounds as if its coming from some where near the firewall. it lasts for a second or less.

I think my 02 TL-S does the same thing, but it's usually when I'm slowly driving forward, making a right off my court. Are you steering or driving straight when you hear it.

Mine sounds sorta like a vibration or buzz.

Correct answer.

Mine does this all the time, all I have to do is pull out of my garage and down my driveway (it is on a slight downward slope). As soon as it rolls down the driveway I'll hear the ABS motor kick on and off within about a second or two.

ABS motor.

It was far more pronounced in the older Acuras. Surprised you can even hear it in your TL.
